Contact Persons

Each member agency must clearly designate both a Point Person as well as one or more Contact Persons.

Point Person:  Each member of the Alliance4Gm appoints an individual who will represent their agency officially to the managing group of the Alliance4Gm. This individual is responsible for their participation in the Alliance4Gm.  This person:

  • manages the information shared on the website (www.Alliance4Gm.com) regarding the agency:
    • the official website link
    • the recommendation page that is prepared "off site" but accesible via a link on the website.
  • manages the information communicated through the Google Map
    • the agency map (imported into the "presentation page)
  • ensures that the Alliance4Gm team has the correct Google Account email addresses for the individuals from the agency who would edit the maps and have access to secure Google Documents on candidates, etc.
The Point Person is not necessarily the Official Contact (see below) with whom others communicate. But official communication from the Alliance4Gm will always be with the Point Person.  The agency may at any time change this individual.

Official Contact: This individual could be the Point Person or someone else appointed by the member agency.  This individual is the one with whom other Alliance4Gm members officially communicate.  The Official Contact is responsible to:

  • be the official voice representing the agency to other members. All official communication from other members will be directed to this individual or individuals. The Official Contacts from the other members will have access to these individual's email address.
  • be the person with access to the shared information:
    • contact information on the Official Contacts of all Alliance4Gm members.
    • details on specific (sometimes confidential) countries where member agencies serve.
    • details on candidates seeking secondment.
